The coefficient of performance (COP) refers to the efficiency of a heat pump and directly relates to the energy output from a heat pump. It is the ratio of heat produced, relative to each unit of electricity consumed in the heat pump.
What is SCOP?
The seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) is the average COP carried over the annual heating season (the full year).
Are heat pumps efficient?

Can a heat pump be used with radiators?
Yes, as long as heat pumps are sized correctly, they will work well with radiators.
Will a heat pump work with underfloor heating?

Are heat pumps more expensive to run?

Can heat pumps be installed in any building?

Can a heat pump work in any weather?

Are heat pumps supplied with a warranty?

What is a buffer tank?
A buffer tank is typically an insulated vessel of water; it doesn’t usually contain any coils or heat exchangers; most will have top and bottom connections, and some will have a baffle plate internally.
