Delivery
- Do you offer FORS delivery?
What is FORS?
FORS stands for Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). It is an accreditation scheme that aims to raise levels of safety, efficiency and environmental protection in fleet operators.
A company that is FORS accredited means their delivery vehicles and service is required to follow a set of high standards and protocols.
Such standards include:
Vehicle roadworthiness
Trustworthy and highly competent drivers
Controlled carbon emissions
Stringent health and safety requirements
Safe load transportation
Does Hamworthy Heating offer FORS accredited delivery?
Yes, we do. When you get a product quote from us, please let us know if you would like FORS delivery and we will use an accredited haulage service.
Please note that it will incur an additional cost. Get in touch with us to find out more.
How can I check a company is FORS accredited?
Go to the FORS website. Then search for a company by either their name, address or FORS ID number. You’ll also be able to see their FORS status, bronze, silver or gold.
- Will the Wessex ModuMax mk3 be easy to get into the plantroom?
Yes, each module is delivered fully assembled and even the largest 762kW model will pass through a standard doorway.
For sites that are more difficult such as basement and rooftops, the modules can be separated and rebuilt when in position.
Take a look at this case study of the Langham Hotel where the boilers were separated and carried up to the rooftop plantroom.
