Jason Hartigan joins the Hamworthy team!New North East Area Sales Manager

We’re excited to welcome Jason Hartigan as our new North East Area Sales Manager. Jason brings over 25 years of experience in the industry and has extensive knowledge of the commercial heating and hot water market. Familiar with the Groupe Atlantic brand, he is well-versed in boilers, hot water products, and renewable energy solutions, having previously worked with our sister brands, ACV UK and Keston.

Jason joined the Hamworthy team in January 2025 as an Area Sales Manager for the North East, where he supports contractors and consultants with design and specification for their commercial boilers, heat pumps, and water heater needs. With his wealth of experience in HVAC, manufacturing, and mechanical contracting, Jason is well positioned to provide solutions for a wide variety of applications.

Excited to be part of such a well-respected brand and work alongside his new team, Jason is looking forward to addressing the challenges related to Net Zero and advising clients on transitioning from traditional commercial heating systems to new low-carbon solutions. He has even begun presenting our CIBSE-approved CPDs to consulting engineers. With no two days the same, Jason can often be found visiting M&E contractors and distribution partners and attending site visits, which he considers his favourite part of the job.

“There are no two buildings the same when it comes to commercial heating. One day I could be visiting a hotel, and the next day I might be at a school. It's this variety of applications that adds another layer of enjoyment to the role. What works for one building might not work for another, so it’s all about finding a solution that is both future-proof and efficient for each specific building,” comments Jason.

As a member of the CSCS, the leading construction scheme in the UK, Jason also assures customers that he has the appropriate training and qualifications to be on-site for projects and to identify and deliver the correct products.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys skydiving and practicing martial arts. He holds a black belt in Aikido and a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has won gold medals at The British Masters National competitions in two different belt categories. Committed to teaching young people, Jason also serves as a volunteer cadet instructor.
