Hamworthy Heating

Graham Cook, Technical Sales Manager

His wealth of knowledge is a valuable asset to the Hamworthy team.

With over 25 years of experience in the commercial heating industry, Graham brings a strong background in installation, commissioning, and service, along with extensive expertise as a heating engineer.

Graham joined the Hamworthy Team in May 2024, stepping into his role as National Technical Sales Manager to support the sales team, clients, and designers with technical assistance, aftersales customer support, and on-site problem-solving. His role involves everything from providing technical guidance and attending remote or face-to-face meetings to troubleshooting design and site challenges. No two days are ever the same for Graham—one day, he might be assisting with technical enquiries, and the next, he’s out on-site, overseeing warranty and commissioning programs across the UK. But what he enjoys most about his role? Meeting new people and making a real difference. For Graham, there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing he’s helped bring a project to life.

Enjoying his new role, Graham is eager to tackle the challenges related to Net Zero in the commercial heating and hot water industry.

"Looking at where we are now and what’s on the horizon, it’s clear that the world needs to reduce carbon emissions. But at the same time, we all rely on heating and hot water. Every shift in policy and renewables will impact my role—so I’m always learning, adapting, and, most of all, helping others."

Graham Cook

As part of his role, Graham is also passionate about promoting and expanding the number of skilled commercial engineers in the commercial heating and hot water sector. He believes it’s a fantastic industry to be part of—constantly evolving—and strongly advocates for more apprenticeships to secure its future. To support this, he has been delivering on-site training and presenting CIBSE-approved CPDs to consulting engineers.

Outside of work, family life is Graham’s top priority. He’s also eagerly counting down the days until April when he’ll be flying to Perth, Australia, to reunite with family and friends he hasn’t seen in over a decade. And with summer fast approaching, he’s looking forward to getting back on the cricket field—a sport that has been a huge part of his life since he was 12 years old.
