We’re delighted to welcome Adam Burrows to the team as our new National Sales Manager for Hamworthy Heating. Adam brings almost 20 years of experience in the heating industry, including many years within the Groupe Atlantic family, where he worked for Ideal Commercial Heating.
Adam began his journey in 2008 with a leading domestic boiler manufacturer, where he worked as a Specification Manager. In this role, he supported local authorities, housebuilders, installers and merchants in the early stages of project development.
In 2013, Adam joined Ideal Commercial Heating as a Business Development Manager, where he developed strong relationships with contractors and consultants and supported projects from initial design through to delivery. From here, he progressed to Senior Business Development Manager for the South in 2015.
Keen to take the next step in his career, Adam joined Hamworthy Heating in April 2026 as National Sales Manager. In his new role, Adam will be supporting the sales team in driving sustainable growth and further strengthening the company’s market position. “It’s great to be a part of such an experienced team and to focus on long term growth across the business,” explains Adam.
Reflecting on his move, Adam highlights Hamworthy Heating’s reputation as a key factor in his decision. “With over 100 years of industry experience and a proven track record of manufacturing high quality heating and hot water products, moving to Hamworthy was an easy decision for me. I’m really pleased to be joining such a well-respected brand.”
Having spent much of his career working closely with contractors and consultants, Adam has developed a clear understanding of the practical challenges faced on site. From space constraints in plantrooms to the importance of system protection, he brings a hands-on perspective to the role. Looking towards the future, he is particularly interested to see how solutions such as modular boiler designs and the use of plate heat exchangers can help improve performance, reliability and long-term efficiency.
“Over the course of my career, one of the biggest changes I’ve seen has been the increased use of system protection through plate heat exchangers. There’s now a much greater understanding of the benefits of separating system and boiler circuits and that’s having a positive impact across the industry.”
With a strong background in both commercial boilers and heat pumps, Adam is also keen to be part of the continued shift towards low carbon technologies. While he sees heat pumps playing an increasingly important role in the future, he also recognises the ongoing value of commercial boilers and hot water heaters. With this in mind, he is looking forward to working with Hamworthy Heating’s portfolio, which offers a wide range of low carbon solutions.
When it comes to his approach, Adam is focused on delivering practical and reliable solutions. With a strong understanding of both the technical and commercial sides of the business, his positive outlook keeps projects moving and ensures the right outcome for customers. “I’ve always had a ‘can do’ attitude. I like finding solutions and working through challenges. That’s a big part of what I enjoy about the role.”
Going forward, Adam is looking forward to working closely with the wider team to continue to build on Hamworthy Heating’s strong foundations. “It’s an exciting time, especially with new product developments on the horizon.”
