Our year in events, a look back at a busy year

Specifi

Starting the year with a series of Specifi mechanical events in ten major cities around the UK and ROI, these events enabled us to further build relationships and showcase our latest product offering in a relaxed, informal environment.

CIBSE Technical Symposium

April saw us on the road to Glasgow to attend the 2023 CIBSE Technical Symposium, which supports the latest research on delivering sustainable, safe, and healthy buildings for a net zero future.  As a gold sponsor of the event and a long-term member of the CIBSE Patrons programme, this was a great chance for us to be able to share our insight and also deliver a peer reviewed CPD paper, which was also included within the CIBSE Journal website.

Hamworthy Summer Social

In July, it was back to Leeds for our legendary Hamworthy Summer Social, which took place at our very own Experts Academy.  Giving us the perfect opportunity to officially launch our new Tyneham Heat Pump CPD, the day was a huge success.  Attracting a large number of visitors, guests were invited to attend a selection of CPDs, product seminars, and roundtable events.  But it wasn’t all work with no play. The event also provided us a great opportunity to catch up with customers in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst having some fun with our golf and F1 racing car simulators.  

The Drive to Net Zero

For our Drive to Net Zero event, we were delighted to welcome over 150 customers to our exclusive Groupe Atlantic knowledge-based event in October.  Taking place at Mercedes Benz World in Surrey, guests were invited to participate in a selection of seminars and CPDs, all designed to keep installers, building engineers, and specifiers up to speed with the latest developments in commercial heating and hot water technologies.  And, with a visit to Mercedes-Benz World incomplete without experiencing some of the thrills on offer, guests were also able to take to the track to experience the excitement of the circuit with a ‘Hot Lap’ passenger ride.

CIBSE Build2Perform LIVE

Finishing off the year at this year’s CIBSE Build2Perform Live event, the team were once again on hand to showcase our latest range of commercial heating and hot water solutions on the 5^th and 6^th December at ExCel, London.  A great success, the prestigious event gave us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how Hamworthy is able to provide a complete solution for every plant room. 

It’s certainly been a busy year for events, but it’s been a great opportunity for us to be able to meet customers in person, discuss news of upcoming developments and share our exciting product ranges.  A huge thank you to the team and everyone that took the time to attend our events this year.
